Was on a stopover in Bangkok on the way back from Laos to Singapore (new gallery soon) Surprisingly this was the only info we had about the earthquake and subsequent Tsunami in the region until we got back to Singapore.

Our thoughts are with all those who have been affected by this disaster.

The scale of this is quite tragic. I'd been watching TV since 08:00 GMT after being woken by my grandfather - he couldn't get my dad / his son on the phone. My mum and dad spend half the year in South India. They're fine, but it's scary how much the death toll has risen all day...

Hi, pleased to hear you haven't been too affected by this disaster - we got home to Singapore from Phuket on the 24th so are very lucky to be safe home, I really feel for those who are there and hope there are no more aftershocks. Hope you've had a great Christmas and look forward to the new galleries.

Stuart, I am just now reading about this. This is a real desaster and I think it will be sometime before all the damage is known.
