December 22, 2004

I have been trying to find the film I shot on my trip to Harper's Ferry. I used the Tokina 17mm in the film camera and it's a really nice wide view. I've been curious to see the results. I finally found the film, rewound and still in the camera. So a photo of it with an attempt at selective coloring.

I haven't looked through the viewfinder of the F100 in a few months. Wow! It's so big and bright. Now to get that roll to the lab for developing and scanning.

Oh I forgot to lower the iso from an earlier shoot. Duh.

I don't think it quite worked. The camera is mostly b&w, but the red and green button on it have very little color and the gold isn't real strong either.

I'd have never guessed selective coloring . . I would have guessed the camera to be solid black . . so I guess I'm saying you did a good job here cuz it looks very natural & not manipulated =]

This looks like the mother of a camera. Well done. I look forward to seeing the product of your work.

That's a beast :) I think your F100 should meet my EOS 3 and shoot lots of film together ;) And you're right about the big bright viewfinders -- I looked through my 3 the other day and thought, "and the reason I never shoot this is...??" Hope we'll get to see what's on that film!

Know what you mean. My two niggles with the D70 are the dull viewfinder and forgetting to reset the ISO. Look forward to the fruits of the F100 and film in due course....
