Today my mom and I drove down to celebrate my Great Uncle Emmett's birthday -- he's 90 today.
We went to The Beef House in Covington, Indiana, his favorite place to eat.
My Great Aunt Evelyn turned 90 on May 20th of this year, and of course we went down for that as well.
He insists on picking up the tab every time.
The lighting wasn't very good in the restaurant, so I took the picture above using the 'Nightshot' feature of the 717.
When I got home I desaturated most of the natural green tint that comes from using that feature.
Here's the picture of them from this May, on Aunt Evelyn's birthday:
He makes toys and tells stories, she still makes stuffed animals and takes them to craft fairs.
She brought one of the stuffed animals along to show us, along with the blue ribbon it won!
(That's my mom, holding the elephant, and my Uncle, getting ready to blow out his candle.)
