I'm tying up a few loose ends with my PAD project today.
I pass down this road at least a few times during the week,
and it neve fails that there is a nice sunrise behind the
power plant only on days that I don't have my camera with me,
or I do and I'm running late as hell.
The other side of the coin will be that I have my camera with me and have plenty of time to spare,
but there will be thick clouds over the lake, blocking the sunrise.
The original shot called for planning it so that the sun is behind the smoke stacks,
but as the year rolls by, the earth is doing goofy things and the shot doesn't line up anymore.
Either way, I still got a shot that I'm happy with,
but I will try and reshoot it one day when the sun is lined up.
