Got a little carried away here I'm afraid.

What started out as a pretty crummy picture
(a late night "I'm eating an orange and I don't have a picture yet." kind of day)
turned into a...well, whatever this is.

I did a cutout of the stem end as it was about the only bit that was slightly interesting, then converted the rest
to black and white, applied dry brush and gaussian blur to that layer, and pasted the orange cutout back in.

Things went downhill from there when I started playing with some text elements.

Oh, well. Something different for an originally dull shot...
