Trying out my new 400mm f/5.6 L. Previously I've used a 70-200 f/4 L lens for squirrel shooting. I found that for many of the pictures I took this day I was simply too close to the squirrels... old habits die hard, I suppose.
It sure is nice to be able to sit back further from the squirrels and still have them fill the frame. They don't get as nervous when I'm ten or fifteen feet away from them.
