Slime moulds must be amongst the weirdest things on the planet, and there are a lot of weird things on this planet.
Some are not people. Slime moulds can pass through filter paper and re-form on the other side- they can even navigate
their way through mazes. This specimen was sitting on the end of a log amongst tall Eucalypt forest in Mount Field National Park.
