A first. The quick release plate on the camera was lightly frozen to the head portion of the quick release - made things a little less quick. Does anyone know why the machined aircraft aluminum these parts are made from get so much condensation on them in almost any weather? I was pleased that the D70 kept on truckin' in the cold weather (not frigid but 24 deg F) in spite of a light layer of frost that formed in spots on the body. It did a lot better than my fingers.
