Everyone has one ... or two, or three..., doesn't he? Each one causes other people to see someone different, even if only a little. But, behind which mask do we see ourselves? Is it the true one? Is it hiding a hideous flaw? Is it what we wish we were? Is it who we think we are? Is it a different mask at different times? What if we took it ... took them *all* off?
I've become fascinated (obsessed?) with the possibilities of creating and using personal masks in different concepts. Hope that has no deeper implications other than a little artistic curiosity.
SP - Take a face -- any face. Duplicate its layer. Mix in Gaussian blur -- not so much as to lose desired detail. Trim (erase) away excess or undesired skin. Be sure to remove eyeholes, noseholes, and whatever. Season (adjustment layers) with curves, contrast, etc. to taste. Adjust temperature with hue/saturation. Garnish (style) with dropped shadow or perhaps, inner glow, or even a little texture. Serve with reduced opacity, as desired. Adjust position over face, if needed. No carbs, limited fat per serving. Serves millions.
