Horseshoe Curve, an American engineering achievement which not only eiminated the necessity of Portage railroad but also greatly improved the transportation accross Pennsylvania.
On the Thankgiving day, I was invited to Eric's parents home and have the turkey feast with them. We went to the hill to enjoy the view of Horseshoe Curve. Train passed through, flake floated around.
It reminded me my hometown in China, a city renowned for its coal production and railroad.
The rail, parellelingly paving ahead, seems endless. For years, I have been a passenser on the train, eagerly heading home. Never, ever, has the train gone back. It just leads to the land unknown.
