I simply couldn't get a shot this morning that did the beauty of the clouds justice.
For one thing, I was standing out in my pajamas on the back step with no shoes on and freezing.
Not conducive to taking time to get the settings just so, plus when you're shivering you tend to get camera shake.

Yes, I know my jacket was right there by the door, and so were my shoes; I just couldn't be bothered with them.
Maybe that says something about the lovliness that I can't convey here -- haven't you ever run out without your shoes on because you
had to get the picture right away?
