We had a gorgeous day so I rode the RT this afternoon. I headed up through Masonville to Stove Prairie and down Rist Canyon. I saw probably 25 deer during the ride, most of them between Masonville and Stove Prairie. I think we need to rename Rist Canyon to "Risk" Canyon. There was a lot of sand on the road from the snow we had earlier in the week. That makes for some cautious riding.
This shot was taken coming back down. I have seen this pond before but the water was so still today I had to stop and get some shots. I'm a bit disappointed in them. However, stopping allowed me to walk around and scout it out for another opportunity.
