They just completed 18 months of restoration work on this fountain to the left of the bridge, and it has been shut down for 6 years. Seems it was leaking pretty heavily and threatening to flood the english church just behind. The front of the church is still sandbagged, so this was the best angle to eliminate unsightly construction. Seems like everything is under construction here. There isnt a single street that doesnt have work being done, and half the buildings have scaffolding on them, so getting clean shots is a challenge.
