There is a section of the library done entirely in red. It isn't a lighting effect or a function of oversaturation or anything like that, this is really what it looks like to the human eye as well. This area has meeting rooms and offices and such and in the vertical orientation of the library it is in between the lobby and the fifth floor and a lot of people just pass through it on the stairs. For these reasons and the coloring it has acquired the nickname: The Colon. This photo is a little blurry as well and the horizon is a bit crooked but otherwise tolerably decent.
