This is the ribbon cutting cermony for the opening of Lory's Place, a Grief Healing Support Center of Hoispice at Home.
Lory's Place was started by a group of local people,
spearheded by Ron Schults affter his wife, Dr. Lory Schults
was killed in an automobile accident back in January.
Our goal is to raise $700,000 for the construction
and operation of the Center.
To date we have pledges of $436,262.35 and
have received $271,202.35 in contributions.
Our Lady Skipper Regatta raised
$12,098.35 for the Center.
The support from the area has been unbelievable.
We will have an open house at the
Center today through Thursday.
It is a fantastic place, we are real proud of Ron and his family
for providing the vision and leadership required to put this in action.
