Daily Constitutional
by mlynn

Okay...so it's not too exciting :),
but I thought I would put something up and try for something more interesting later.
Our autumn colors are gone now, and the remaining land colors are a bit leached out and drab...
waiting for the snow. But at least the sky is blue.

Well done mate, I meant to say.

It's not the location so much as the composition which makes this image appealing. You used the Rule of Thirds well, both vertically with the tree, and horizontally with the horizon. We done mate.

Amazing to me that you won't think we would find this exciting. Gads, to have this kind of landscape available on a daily basis would be a dream come true for me. Beautiful shot. --Nancy

Thanks, Melanie. Who ever would have thought -- I worked for a vet for several years when I lived in Australia and never realized that was the name of the breed! Lovely dogs, in any case, whatever you call them. Helen

Thank you everyone. Helen, GSDs = German Shepherd Dogs, although people commonly just shorten that to German Shepherds. Melanie

What a beautiful playground for your dogs, Melanie...nice sense of scale here too. I like the sky and the natural colors & clarity of the landscape. MFC

Nice landscape - really good looking GSD, it looks like they've got a great place to run!

Thanks Mike! Yep, those are my 2 GSD's, my girls...Pooka and Zoe. Melanie

You bet it's exciting! Any scene of this sort that transports me away from suburban life -- and the political excesses and inanities that always seem harder to escape here -- is exciting to me ;-)

Are they your GSDs? (fond memories there...) - Mike
