Don't be fooled into thinking this is Dracula's castle. Despite the hords of street vendors hawking Dracula paraphernalia outside this site, the real Dracula's castle is near Curtea de Arges, where he watched over a mountain pass into Transylvania. Due to its convenient location near Brasov, nearly all tourists are routed here. The historical plaque inside the door, which reviews its occupants, makes no mention of Dracula.
