Sliding door, the small gate to New York City.
Like the little girl, I was anxious to see the city again.
The weather in NYC never coorporates with my travel. This time again I was walking in the freezing wind.
After three hours tour in Empire State Building (Unfortunately two hours were spent in the waiting line), I was having a break in a Hawaii Mexican restaurant. The lady, who sat next me, works in the Empire State Building.
"There are too many things to see here. One week is possible, three or four days? umm...." Her words remind me back to the little girl.
We, tourists, usually don't have such generous time to hang around. Taking subway, squeezing in a long waiting line. We see more tourists than the city. No wonder people think New Yorkers are cold (which my friend doesn't agree), no wonder the colorof the city fades away quickly.
