Moon over Dartmoor
Fremiet

Penelope: In this I followed the letter, if not the intent of the challenge. This is indeed a landscape, but looks better in B and W. The moon, however looks better in color.....sooooo...........the landscape is there, the color is there. Any way we do this for the fun of it, so I'm hoping you will let it stay. Fremiet

Ever been to Dartmoor Melanie? It isn't quite of this planet....I grew up a few miles away, which, i guess makes me not quite of it too!! John

Another very cool image John. It looks like it's not quite of this planet. Melanie

Ok, ok, it just about passes, after all there is colour in there! Not quite in the spirit of the challenge but very beautiful all the same....Penelope

John, FWIW the frame colour works for me as a complement to the image content, though I think the width makes the frame dominate somewhat and I'd be more comfortable with less of it. The whole thing - capped off by the moon - sits quite well with my interpretation of the "in Color" bit too, since human vision will render such a coloured vista increasingly towards monochrome as the brightness falls. Intriguing, and very pleasant to look at. - Mike

imj Mark the frame accentuates what would otherwise be a sightly anemic moon. Thaks for thinking about it, though. John

Interesting to look at, John. I like it but do not care for the frame color. A frame should in some way compliment the image or not distract from it. Markjay

Really nice composite, Fremiet I love the 'hard-contrast' grainy look of this. Excellent technique. Carlos Ch.
