Brace Yourself

Yesterday and today have been very rough for me emotionally,
and the election is the smallest part of what has me down.
Having no energy for a photo, and feeling like my legs were
knocked out from under me, I spotted my tripod and thought
that it would somehow make a good photo. Legs and legless,
it really doesn't make sense but then neither does life sometimes.

You can always count on your tripod... Errr, is it made of solid GOLD???

You've got a nice sturdy one; mine isn't this nice, and certainly couldn't support me on a day like this one was either. Hang on for dear life. Here we go...

Appropriate title of the day, for sure.

Know what you mean.

Nice close up shot. I like the grain.

Cheryl, how lucky are you having a tripod made of pure gold :>) Now all you need is to look for the silver lining & things will seem better.

Cheryl, I know how you feel! Good decision on what to photograph today. Your subconscious was speaking to you. It was a sad, sad election.

I went over to the forum and read the politics board and found I'm not the only liberal in the US; that was good to know. And someone pointed out today that the little emperor will have to clean up the mess he and his buddies have made, and that certainly rang true for me. Hope you get your legs back under you....

Hope you have your legs back soon. If they are as well built as this tripod's appear to be, you should be in good shape. Since this election is one of the greater catastrophes I can imagine, I wish you the best through your travail. Nice pic, by the way.
