Nov 3: Banjo

I was concentrating on the process rather than the composition today. Shot on FP4+ in the Rolleicord (1/125 @ f11), developed in Rodinal (1+50 for 15 minutes at 20degC), scanned on a Microtek Scanmaker 6100. Cheating with that last bit huh?I'm really starting to enjoy the process of making photographs. It's all very fast and convenient shooting in digital, but there's nothing like opening the dev tank after fixing a film and seeing that you've actually got some pictures! Which reminds me. That mystery film of a week or so back... I developed that one too. Completely blank! That explains why I couldn't remember shooting it!

BTW - this 600x600 jpg doesn't do the neg justice. Take a look at the detail here. Now I know it all works, I can go and make some more interesting pictures!

Oh that's beautiful. Look at the tones and the detail. I can just imagine how much more extreme they are when viewed in person. YAY David!!
