Another mural in Paris, this one in the Rue des Haudriettes in the third arondissement. It is somewhat faded now, and I photographed it on a cloudy day, so I enhanced the saturation a bit to bring out the colors and details. The title, "L'Esprit des Lieux," means "The spirit of the places" but it is also an allusion to the baron de Montesquieu's eighteenth-century masterpiece, L'Esprit des lois (The Spirit of the Law).
