Nikon D70 and Nikkor 12-24 DX at 12mm

This was shot as NEF with normal in camera sharpening and saved as a "Good Balance" JPG with no additional processing except - 1/2 EV exposure adjustment. For some reason the camera over exposed the image.

Previously a test image of the same scene and same conditions was very fuzzy. The camera had a small amount of back focus. After a tweak to the D70 AF the image is now quite sharp. My results suggest that the lens is very sensitive to AF adjustment. I think it is possible that reports of poor resolution with this lens could possibly be camera related. Just a little more lens voodoo to add to the cauldron.
