Thanks Jonas, was refering to the 17-40L. I already have the 100 macro, and it's a great lens too.

Or do you mean the 17-40L? You do own a Canon DSLR? Then run an get one of those lenses! 99% of my photos are taken with that lens on the camera. Excellent quality: sharpness, low chromatic abberation, no flare, no lightfall of in corners. /Jonas

The 50 f2.5 Macro is small and a decent very sharp complement to my 17-40L. Bought it used for 70 euro. But if your after a very good macro I would suggest looking at the 100mm macro. Heard a lot good about that one. /Jonas

Thanks Jonas. How do you like that lens, I'm thinking of buying it.

This is more than close enough for this shot I think it works really well. Very nice work Jonas.

Well actually I don't have a kit lens. And this is as close as you get with a 17-40L. With a 8 megapixel image you can of course crop a part for web view, but that is not my cup of tea. I seldom do any cropping outside the viewfinder. (That is how I practise my "photographic eye"). I like it though it's not a macro but that's just me. =) Thanks for your suggestion, I think I bring my 50mm macro today on my daily walk to work. /Jonas

You have the 20D (and at least the kit lens) but you didn't zoom closer? shame on you my friend. It could've been a really nice shot.
