Lunar Eclipse.

There's probably going to be tons of these type of images up soon, so I thought I'd be the first here :-).

Olympus C-2100UZ
This one is several pics sandwiched together using CPP10, then 100% adaptive sharpening, 75% adaptive sharpening, cropped to 800x600, downsampled, then some sharpening applied again. Exposure for each shot = F6.3 @ 3s, 388mm ISO 100, manual focus cloudy white balance, spot metering and spot focusing hide exif

Doesn't even look real. Very pretty image. We had cloud cover so couldn't see it.

Nice clear shot, and posted as it's happening too! The stacking technique did a nice job of eliminating noise.

Great shot Brian! I got a clear view of the moon today, part of it missing. I thought it was just the high clouds covering it... 15 minutes later, more of it is covered. I thought it might be an eclipse... now I know it is. Thank you!
