The nest was built using graduated sizes of grapevine wreaths and a bit of extra grapevine garland. The wings are as much of a digital creation as an actual physical creation. The wings are wired into the back side of the nest. I created the "cloak" by photographing the set without the baby in the nest and merging the before and after images in Photoshop 7.

Wonderful! I think I'm an outdoor (natural light) photographer, then I see your work and it really makes me want to learn, then I'll have to blame you when I explain to my husband that I want to set up a studio in the basement and I show him how much the backdrops cost ;) You are so creative and handy!!
