Poor Dizzy. He is so lonely. The hummers have gone south and now
he has lost the taste for sweets. He mopes around the house and
everyday I see him going from window to window to peek in at me.
After watching this lizard, who has given me so much joy this year,
I wonder how intelligent a lizard can be!! This is no dummy lizard
for sure. He knows the hummers are gone and likely thinks I had something
to do with the disapearnce. OR!, could he possibly be trying to tell
me he wants to play again? This really is a saga and the end so far is
sad to watch. He stays high on the side of the house and that's a good
thing as the neighbor's cats love to catch the lizards that live around
my garden. I sure hope Dizzy makes it through the winter months.
Humm. Wonder how long a lizard lives. This is one sad scene.
Maybe I'll take his picture now and agian to make him feel important again.
