Part of the scenes of Luke Skywalker's home for the Star Wars movie was shot in Hotel Sidi Driss, which used to be a troglodyte home. Much of the surface decorations created for the movie, which can be seen on the stairs, doors and doorway,s are still intact. It's a fascinating thought that a totally different world was created in a hole right beneath another world.
