It is amusing that huge rusty metal doors that guard the entrance to the Ribat of Harthema can be unlocked through a little hole like this! However insignificant as it may appear, I think this keyhole holds a deeper meaning in the context of women's liberation in Tunisia - Ribat of Harthema was infact the first in Tunisia to admit female professors and students.
