Ornate Wall, The Mosque of Sidi Sahab (Mosque of the Barber)

Although this mosque is smaller and less stately than the great Mosque of Kairouan, it is extensively more ornate. The passageways are lined with fancy decorative tiles and marble columns. This mosque was named after Sidi Sahab who was a close companion of the Prophet Mohammed. And because he always carried three hairs from Mohammed's beard, he came to be known as the Prophet's Barber.
