Children started to appear from all directions the minute we stepped into the ruins of Ksar Ouled Aoun. It appears that not many tourists visit the remote ruins here, so when one appears, especially a rare tourist of oriental descent, children flock to check out this unusual visitor with much curiosity and excitement.
