The coastline along this part of Wales is perforated by a few estuaries.
The Bungalow is close to that of the River Mawddach, we could just see it from the side windows through the trees.
Up stream about three miles is a pleasant hotel where we had lunch three times.
Part of it is the disused railway station. The track ran along where this access road is now.
The toll bridge was built by the railway company to bring passengers from the other side of the estuary to the station.
The toll bridge keeper suggested that we went along the “New Precipice Walk” which runs alone the line that can be seen below the summit on the far side.
