The The Walrus Magazine is a general interest publication in the same vein as Harpers, based out of Toronto, and distributed internationally. Our mandate is to allow the contemporary art within our pages to run its own narrative, rather then play a purely illustrative role. Thus far we have employed the personal work of Jenny Holzer, Damien Hurst, Gus Powell, Janet Cardiff, Sarah Sze, and Vik Muniz, to name a few.
