Atooru, aka Larry King

Sorry about the color, I never have been able to get it right on this old Nikon. It's hard enough just getting the cards to read! Anyway, this is my new foster kitty Atooru, which is Japanese for "really huge". He weighed 4 ounces and had fleabite anemia when he came to the shelter at 2 weeks of age with his brothers and sisters. We were going to Euthanize the litter at first, but I decided to take on full responsibility for the health these guys. With special vitamins and food, Atooru is now up to a full pound at 6 weeks of age, but still has some health issues. To give you an idea how big he is, the pot for the plant he is standing next to is 4" tall and 2" wide. He doesn't know he's small though, which makes him all the more special. We are working on getting his body the same size as his mushroom head because he looks kinda funny, but we love him anyway. He was just visiting with us in this photo, he's now back with his mom and 5 pure white litter mates at the animal shelter who are now up for adoption at 8 weeks of age.
