Well today it has been raining all day long. It is gloomy outside and wet.
So I figured I needed a picture with some rain. I came up with an idea of taking one of my photo umbrellas, having the flash on it and having someone hold it out in the rain.
I wasn't sure what to expect, but here is the result.

Really nice shot. I was wondering where the light source was coming from before I read your explanation. It's very eye catching and I like the way it catches the raindrops.

Cool! This is fascinating. Great concept. I must admit, I find the ornament, or fountain, or whatever it is, distracting, and I wonder how the comp would look with out it. In any case, nice job!
