View from the Hemlock Springs overlook. The park used to be filled with massive several hundred year old hemlocks (these two dead ones are babies). Now they're all dead (killed be a teeny critter whose name I don't recall).
Steady drizzle and heavy mist/fog (what's the difference) all day. Good practice keeping gear dry. Great lighting for bring out the colors. Kept my 18-70 at the wide end all day and also kept a circular polarizer on all day.
