Did Rod and Jude BOTH 'come out' in this challenge? Zowie! LOL! Great shot. ~ Lonnit

thanks for all the comments and reactions you guys! Im am going to use this shot as a base photo for a metaphorical self portrait project for my college illustration class. I'll post up the 'finished' shot on my pbase account sometime over the weekend if anyone wants to see.

Who's looking at the wall:-)

I didn't notice this before, but I just noticed something I'd probably change. Just to the left of the shoulder in the center of the photo is a blemish on the wall that is a bit distracting. I'd probably clone it out. -- Victor

Hey Nico, although the feeling from this image is more melancolic than conforting I might vote for this one.
Good job.

I think I have the body for a shot like this (shut up Dorys) but my wife reckons I definitely don't have the head:-)

Great lighting.

I would do a pic just like this, but I'm too ugly :)

Superb self portrait, beautifully lit - how did you do the lighting? Looks like it was coming in through glass from a hallway or something...

It's a stunning image, Nick. If you do half as well with your classes as you do with photography, you should be an honors graduate.
