Whatever the opinions on motion , This is a great train shot.
If it works for you in the competition , that is all that matters.

hi claudio
for this one I used part of bracket's first message in the challenge thread for inspiration:
"shoot whatever you can think of, as long as it has to do something with motion."

I figure a train has "something to do with motion". ;) But there is more to it than that. As in my last entry I was playing around with the notion of anticipated motion. Maybe I should have called this "getting ready to go". The train itself is still, but there is the frantic activity of the workmen around it and also the steam curling lazily up from the rails.

Hope that helps. Thanks for your query.

Hi Niamh,

It took me some time to "warm up" to this image, but it still does not do motion for me. I guess from the title you want us to focus on the water and maybe the men operating it, but I still see it as a nice machinery picture but without a sense of motion. Maybe an explanation would help me understand what you want to convey?
