Post-Concert...

Toronto

It’s the best feeling in the world- coming home after a great concert. Still exhilarated, humming to the tune (in this case Dvorak’s Cello Concerto), you put your feet up and just couldn’t stop raving to you significant other (who decided to stay home) how wonderful the music was. –Though it shows in the photo that the concert was on Oct 1, I was simply trying to recapture that post-concert feeling :) -

The ticket wouldn't be an easy subject to make it look interesting, but you succeeded really well. Very nice shot.

When I took the shot the camera was set to Auto WB. I did a few shots with corrected white balance but they just didn't capture the mood. After your input, I've color corrected it a bit but still leaving the warm glow. Thanks.

Hi, I like the Depth of Field, and composition on this - they way the ticket gets more blurred as it goes away from the lens. In terms of the (*) I think there is something amiss with the white balance of it - it looks kinda 'warm' - maybe you want it that way to express 'comfort' ! I would be tempted to tweak the white balance of this if possible, otherwise I like the composition and it does convey the idea of 'after' something.

I did change it. Thought the first one was too obvious :) although it does make a better composition. I'll take another look and decide. Thanks.

Mke, Has this one changed? I like the other one with the violin in the background. theFly
