13-10-04 dirty talk

Queens Terrace Gardens, Aberdeen

First off, I wanted to send a message of thanks to my Consigliere (I'm not sure what the Portuguese
equivalent is) today, Mr Stewart Lloyd-Jones. He helped me with some invaluable advice today.
Cheers Stewart!

That's one thing that's really struck me since I began posting here. The level of warmth and
camaraderie from everyone. Really picks you up if you have a bad day! More tributes to be paid, as
soon as I can think of fitting enough visual rewards!

I saw this whilst I was walking through the park this morning. I have to go through the park each day
to get to my work. This was first thing this morning, very windy, wet and foggy.

I kind of liked the organic, and inorganic in the same frame. In the end though the pink was so
lurid, as compared to the rest of the images today, I decided to go for this as PotD! I've no
idea what "dirty talk" is (well, as a product), but no doubt it will be some club night or band.

I also started a street art gallery today!

Pretty amazing piece of graffiti made even more amazing by the way the natural world is beginning to swallow it up.

Unusual pink! Great framing, and composition! Btw, is this somekind of advertisment or what? Unique and very cool shot :-)

Nice framing, an unusual pink color that suggests how out of place the human race is, in nature.

The unexpected shade of pink really sets this off. I agree with you about the contrast of organic and inorganic materials. This is an unusual and interesting photo.

It was said below, but I'll agree, like this one for the faded man-made pink juxtaposed against the natural colors of the leaves.

Oh, I think this is very cool. the leaves seem almost to be floating about it all.

Beautiful, Dom. I like the colours and ambiguity of the two elements - the leaves and painting. I think this is the best photo fo the bunch, though the others are nice as well.

I like the Holburn & park light since I much prefer old to modern anyday. That however doesn't mean this is not a good capture.
