Another day in the call room...I guess the call room at my hospital is nicer than most. You usually get a cold room with steel bunk beds, shared by a bunch of residents and medical students. Since there is only one doc on call per night where I work, we get this nifty, single room. We have recently moved one step closer to the "institution" feel, though, when they pulled up the carpet and put down these cold tiles. You see, there was a leak that was getting the carpet all wet. Instead of fixing the leak, they just pulled out the carpet. I guess that's one solution.
Anyway, this is how I spend a good part of the night. All orders are done on computer now (amazing what you can squeeze out of a circa 1997 computer!). Check out the great posture and ergonomics!
