Rail Yard, Silos, Soda Springs, Idaho

Incredible light and unusual subjects make this one of my favorite photographs from our trip. The on-board flash on my camera helped illuminate the railroad crossing sign.

I'm with Adolpho on this—of your favorites, this rewards my eye the most. Its complexity is nicely balanced by the poignant light (... what time of day was it? which direction were you relative to the sun?). The iridescence on the reflective sign is amazing.

Glad I found your galleries!

This is my "pick" for best of your favorites. The composition, the range of tonalities are very appealing.

I absolutely adore this image. I love what you have done with it, even though I am not sure what exactly you did. The effect is incredible and very very creative. I honestly must say that I think this is one of the best images I have laid eyes on. I vote, even if it is a bit late to do so.

Stunning image. Even without the remarkable light play on the bent crossing sign, the angle and composition make this really stand out. But the lighting really takes it over the top.
