Railroad to nowhere - October 13-04

This railroad is out of service since 7 years now, since the steel factories of Clabecq in Belgium turned to bankrupcy and thousands of people lost there jobs.

See dramatic pictures about the disaffected site of Clabecq in my gallery http://www.pbase.com/lou_giroud/clabecq

I have a special fondness for RR tracks :) Like how it appears to be leaving the town behind.

Good photo, with the tracks leading our eyes into the weeds. Your title is excellent, as well.

The photo is a great one, the narrative disturbing.

Nice perspective Lou, though your comments paint an eerie state that the entire world seems to be experiencing...

Tolles Bild Lou. Gefällt mir ausgezeichnet. Alte Industrieanlagen und stillgelegte Eisenbahnlinien haben eine ganz eigene Faszination. Gute Perspektive. Super gemacht.
