Temperature by Xavier Cohen

THis is a Galile thermometer. Each bubble represent a preset temperature. They go up when the temperature reach the number mark on them. When I shoot the picture it was 25C...bubles are going UP and DOWN during the day...

G'day Xavier. Cool gadget nicely captured. The colours are good and the device holds my interest just because of what it is. 25 deg C must be pleasant conditions for slaving away on C18. ;o) Cheers, John

i'd like to own one of these - I have always found them pretty and at the same time intriguing. good use of DOF and complementary background. I wonder whether the shot would have been further improved with less reflected white light upon the glass?
