This is a picture of the track that I followed between Copacobana and Yampupata. About 2 hours into this walk I got caught in a massive storm. I spent about an hour trying to shelter next to a pig sty. Then, the lady who lived in the house across the road let me shelter in a cellar beneath her house. She made me a cup of hot coffee. I don't like coffee, but I drank it anyway - I was freezing and completely soaked, despite wearing a rain jacket. The guy in this picture was also walking the same way as me, and we sheltered from the rain together. He was Bolivian and did not have a word of English, but my Spanish was at least passable by this stage, so I discussed the weather with him.
