These lone bulls tend to be cantankerous and liable to charge without provocation.
A herd of buffalos is far less dangerous. The African buffalo must not be confused
with the water buffalo, its Asian cousin. Water buffalos are amenable to domestication
and are used as draft animals. The African (or Cape) buffalo has a generally
intractable disposition.
