What a terrific shot!I love that, although the vines are withered the fruit is green and succulent. Can almost smell the rich green tomato smell. Beautifully done I'd say.

That's exactly what mine look like after all the rain we had. I do have a few plant that may survive if we don't get an early frost.

Are FGT something you see in the south? I'd never heard of them until the movie... Are they dipped in batter or something? I prefer mine nice and ripe so that the juice ooozes out when they hit the pan.

I swear Karen this is the prettiest green tomatoe I have ever seen. Blemish free it is and so green.

OK now pick it and fry me up some. Oh how I love fried green tomatoes.

great shot.... we seem to be thinking a little alike... my picture today is of the last rose..... love your comp and subject matter... great color... BTW I like fried green tomatoes (sliced, breaded and fried in butter) Yum!
