We camped at nearby Wild Roses campground. Although the daytime high at StovePipe Wells was 105F, at Wild Roses campground at about 5000" the morning low was 58. The nighttime stars & Milky Way were more brillant than we had ever seen. Coyotes serenaded throughout the darkness.
