I went to the eye doctor today thinking there was a problem
with my contacts. It's much worse. It's one of two things: a
bacterial infection, which is minor, or a fungus, which is quite
serious. I could lose my sight in this eye if that's the case.
And this, my left eye, is my so-called "good" eye.

I have to put drops in it every 15 minutes. Not that it matters,
but these drops are about $50 for a day's worth. Plus I have to
wear this patch thing to keep moving air out of my eye, which then
means I have no bifocal vision. It's very difficult to drive.

I have to go without the contact in the eye for at least a week,
and maybe up to SIX weeks. I've ordered a pair of eyeglasses as
backup.

I wish this were the only challenge I'm facing these days, but it's
just one of several that make me want to scream at the top of my
lungs. But, I know that won't do much good.

At any rate, I won't be taking pictures for a while. I took this one
and did the PS work and it gave me a major headache so this has to be
it for a while. I also may not be commenting either, because it's so
hard to see the computer screen.

So my PaD is shot down for a while. That makes me sad, too.

If you pray, please include me in one or two, okay? I really, really don't
want to go blind in that eye.
