The original plan was to stay a fourth night along the Crest Trail at Holly Lake. Kathy and I, however, opted to hike out which would give us an extra day that we would eventually spend in Yellowstone National Park. Anyway, we hiked out and caught a sunset from Willow Flats. Here you can see Mt. Moran prominently, and also Mt. Woodring just to the left. Hard to believe, but we crossed Paintbrush Divide from Lake Solitude, climbed Mt. Woodring, hiked out, and still caught this amazing sunset...all in a day's work :) Willow Flats is a popular place to spot moose and we saw several (including a cow and her calf) munching on willows.
